Edi M.O. Faal was born in Gambia, West Africa. He was admitted to the Bar in the United States, United Kingdom, and Republic of The Gambia. Mr. Faal is an Attorney and Counselor of the Supreme Court of The United States of America, The Supreme Court of The State of California, and was admitted to The Supreme Court of the State of Indiana. He is a Barrister of the Bar of England and Wales, and a Barrister and Solicitor of The Gambia Supreme Court.

He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute Of Arbitrators, London, and is on the panel of Arbitrators of the World Bank's International Center for the Settlement of International Disputes.

Mr. Faal has been in private practice in Los Angeles, California for decades. His qualifications include Master of Laws (LLM) in International Dispute Resolution from The University of London; Barrister At Law (BL) from Middle Temple Inn of Court, London; Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration, Asian Regional Arbitration Ctr, Malaysia; Juris Doctor (JD) from Western State University, California; Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice (B.Sc.) from Florida International University; Post graduate Certificate from the International Training Institute, Sydney, Australia.

Mr. Faal was an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Southern California from 1991- 1996, where he lectured on Conflicts of Law---the legal aspects of international transactions.

Mr. Faal has received several professional awards including Lawyer of The Year (1994) from John Langston Bar Association; President’s Award from the Los Angeles Criminal Courts Bar Association; Legal Champions Award from Ohio Bar Association; Recognition Award from the Arizona Bar Association; he was included in The Los Angeles Magazine’s List of Super Lawyers from 2007-2023

Mr. Faal has extensive experience in handling complex legal cases. His wide experience includes disputes pertaining to commercial matters, investments, loans, defective products, governmental liability, insurance claims, employment, accidental injuries and professional negligence. He was the lead attorney in the Reginald Denny case (L.A. 4 Trial) following the Los Angeles riots of 1992 in which 56 people lost their lives and more than One Billion Dollars of property was destroyed. Mr. Faal has participated in several high profile cases involving public figures such as Stevie Wonder, Tupac Shakur, Snoop Dogg, Rodney King, and the late rap star Christopher Wallace known as “ Biggie Small”, “Notorious B.I.G.”

Mr. Faal has served as a legal commentator for CNN, NBC News, and Los Angeles Times.
